Mission Statement
To provide quality Mental Health Services to Indigenous peoples, both on and off reserve, in the Rainy River District, as part of a holistic approach to health. Services offered include the following: Individual and Family Counselling, Group Counselling, Workshops/Presentations, Prevention Groups, Suicide Intervention Services, Substance Use Counselling, Family Violence Counselling, Grief Counselling, Family Support Counselling, Parent/Child Conflict Counselling, Teen Issues Counselling (Violence, Peer Pressure).
Referrals
Referrals can be made in person or by another individual or service provider. Referrals can be made by completing a referral/intake form or by calling GHAC (807)274-3131. Following the receipt of a referral or request for service, a Mental Health Worker will contact you to arrange services.
Worried about your child using drugs?
Our mental health workers will act as facilitators for the “Kids and Drugs: A Parent’s Guide to Prevention” program created by the RCMP.
