Child and Youth Land-Based Program

The Child and Youth Land Based program is a new program that is being offered through Gizhewaadiziwin. We will service the 10 communities, and their Children and Youth as well as support programming through our partners United Native Friendship Centre and the Sunset Country Metis. We will provide teachings where Land Based Programming, and program pilots, are implemented while being mindful, safe and caring in a traditional environment.

Services Provided:

Promote and advertise cultural events
Engage with Children-Youth to provide support in cultural activities
Create, organize, lead, assess, and promote in extra-curricular activities
Land-based teachings
Cultural support
Counselling referrals
Land-based healing
Sharing Circles
