Mental Health Program

Mission Statement

To provide quality Mental Health Services to Aboriginal peoples, both on and off reserve, in the Rainy River District, as part of a holistic approach to health. Services offered include the following: Individual and Family Counseling, Group Counseling, Workshops/Presentations, Prevention Groups, Suicide Intervention Services, Substance Abuse Counseling, Family Violence Counseling, Grief Counseling, Family Support Counseling, Parent/Child Conflict Counseling, Teen Issues Counseling (Violence, Peer Pressure).


Referrals can be made in person or by another individual or service provider. Referrals can be made by completing a referral/intake form or by calling GHAC (807)274-3131. Following the receipt of a referral or request for service, a Mental Health Worker will contact you to arrange services.
